ATTENTION: UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS MATHEMATICS
ADD/DROP POLICY In the case that you are unable to register for a particular
course, we will most likely be able to find a space for you. However, you must
be flexible about the section meeting time. Our policy for students attempting to register for introductory math
courses is that they attend the class as if they were registered. It is the responsibility of the student to check with the
Registrar periodically during the first two weeks of the semester to see
if any space has become available. If at the end of the
first two weeks of classes a student has been unsuccessful at obtaining a space which
fits into their schedule from the Registrar directly, she or he must come to RM #404, Krieger Hall to receive a
section assignment from Jessika Wrabel. PLEASE NOTE: Students may change both courses and sections during the first two
weeks of the semester without departmental approval – (freshman will require an
advisor’s signature). After the two week period, departmental
approval is required for ALL schedule changes. -For upper-division courses (110.400 and above) approval can be
given by the Instructor. -For introductory courses (110.399 and below) approval must be granted
by Jessika Wrabel. Neither the signature of the TA or the Instructor constitute departmental
approval and will not be sufficient for the change. (*note* exceptions
for Honors courses 110.113/211/212, in which case the instructor’s approval is
necessary and sufficient at any time during the semester. Registration will be subject to availability of space and
completion of pre-requestites. |
